Course Redesign

The first course I would redesign into an online course is Corrective Reading.  In this course students who are not on grade level in reading are pulled into a class to work on reading strategies to get them to where they need to be.  I would like to believe that this course could be designed in a way that every student could work at their own pace.  In an online format student would not be restricted to working at the pace of the class if they are more advanced in some areas or weaker in others.

Secondly, we have a magnet science class that is focused on medical technology.  This class is new to our campus and is the only one of its kind.  In an online format I can see students’ collaboration with their peers on projects as well as assignments.  Students could interact with other schools that offer this class as well.
